Meet the Team

Andrea Schroer is the Founder and Director of the Energy Assistance Hub, Inc. She brings nearly two decades of leadership experience in energy efficiency, environmental program management, and community-based service delivery. Her work spans pre-weatherization, health and safety remediation, and full-scale weatherization upgrades designed to improve home performance, reduce energy burdens, and strengthen long-term energy security for households.

Andrea previously served as the Weatherization Director for the National Association for State Community Services Programs (NASCSP), where she led national training and technical assistance efforts for states and community action agencies administering the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). During her 11-year tenure with the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA), she managed statewide delivery of the WAP and administered $27 million in ARRA-funded energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives, including the State Energy Program and Georgia’s appliance rebate program.

Earlier in her career, Andrea served as Director of Program Management for Qwest Communications, overseeing large-scale data center infrastructure projects and coordinating engineering, network planning, and facility development teams.

Andrea holds a Master of Science in Environmental Policy & Management from American Military University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Systems Management from Ohio University. She is committed to advancing practical, equitable energy efficiency solutions that reduce energy costs, improve home comfort and safety, and contribute to climate resilience for communities across the country.
